Many Memorial Day events planned for Monday across Whatcom County

If you are looking for a way to honor those who died while serving in the military, there are many Memorial Day events to attend across Whatcom County.

Memorial Day weekend car and motorcycle events, and more

The 80-poker run motorcycle ride is $20 per rider and $5 per passenger, with proceeds to benefit Forces for Change’s plan to build a memorial wall at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park to murder victims like Boyer, 25, an Orange Park veterinary clinic worker who was raped and murdered in 2007.
